Dear Mark Zuckerberg As a long time (and regular) facebook user I have an idea I want to share with you. I call it the “facebook enemy”. It works just like your regular “facebook friend” function except it confirms a relationship of enmity rather than friendship. I think this would be a real value added functionality to have on your facebook. In my own case my enemies tend to be a lot more interesting than my friends. Actually I’m quite suspicious of people who want to be my friends; I’m really not all that nice. My enemies on the other hand I hold in the highest regard, they are typically a better calibre of person. Also I’m a great believer in the imperative given by Vito Corleone (a.k.a. the Godfather) to his youngest son Michael: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
