Dear Members of First Lutheran, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Eric and Michelle Peterson have given us permission to share with you that their younger daughter, Sarah, has been in dire condition in the ICU at Sentara Norfolk General since Wednesday night after a suicide attempt. In order to help parents, youth, and our congregation process, continue conversation, and offer support, your pastors and Rev. Marty Phillips, director of Tidewater Pastoral Counseling Services, will be available this Sunday (1/19/14) at 1:00pm on the 3rd floor of the church. This gathering opportunity is also open to the community. Whether or not you are able to be at the gathering tomorrow, please know that your pastors are available to you.
