Important Dates:- Last date for applying online: 31.07.2013 Tentative date for examination: 25.08.2013 Application fee:- Rs. 500 for UR/OBC, Rs. 100 for SC./ST Educational Qualification:- Staff Nurse, Grade-I:- Essential:- (i) Recognized B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree. (ii) Valid registration as Nurse and Midwifery And (iii) 6 years experience in Nursing of which a minimum of 5 years as Nurse Grade- II/ staff Nurse in a tertiary care/ teaching hospital OR 6 years experience in Nursing of which a minimum of 5 years nursing administrative experience in a tertiary care/ teaching hospital after obtaining B.Sc. Nursing Degree/Certificate OR PG degree in Nursing with a minimum of 4 years experience in nursing out of which 2 years should be nursing service administration/ hospital administration experience in a tertiary care/ teaching hospital after M.Sc. Nursing. Desirable:- (i) PG diploma in Health Care Management/ Hospital Administration. Nursing Administration (ii) Good working knowledge of computer. Staff Nurse, Grade-II:- Essential:- (i) 10th from a recognized University/ Board (ii) Certification in General Nursing and Midwifery (iii) Should be registered ‘A’ Grade Nurse and Midwife with a State Nursing Council. Age limit:- Upto 40 years for Staff Nurse, Grade-I and upto 30 years for Staff Nurse, grade-II Recruitment Process:- Written Examination:- Maximum marks-170, duration - 3 hours, objective type. For Staff Nurse, Grade-II:- Written exam will be based on the syllabus/curriculum of diploma in General Nursng & Midwifery, General Knowledge, English and Basic Computer applications. For Staff Nurse, Grade-I:- Written examination will be based on the syllabus/curriculum of B.Sc. Nursing and Computer application in Nursing.
