Dear North Eastern Pennsylvania, It is the Holiday Season! It is with a warm heart that I ask for your attention. It is the Holiday Season. Think about that. It is the Holiday Season. If you are like me, you have spent the last year running full speed worrying about paying your bills, getting your kids off to school, worrying about work, stressing about being somewhere on time, who is going to win the next election, what the news is saying, etc. I bet you have been busy too. But it is the Holiday Season. For me, it is time to Slow Down and think about that. I love this time of the year. However, I have had bad years in the past, and it was this time of year that was the toughest, and it is this time of year that is the hardest for others now! I AM HOPING AS A COMMUNITY, WE CAN PULL TOGETHER AND HELP THOSE WHO HAD A TOUGH YEAR AND COULD USE SOME SUPPORT FROM US. Many of us hear the Public Service Announcements on the radio and think, that is nice, and we go on with our day thinking, “I should help with that, I will help tomorrow.” Or we see a sign on the side of the road for a local benefit and think, “I should stop, maybe I will come by this weekend.” But then life happens, and our best intentions are replaced with other demands on us. This happens to many of us, myself included. But it is the Holiday Season Now. This is why Feel Good Lights Exist! To help this Holiday Season. What is Feel Good Lights? It is a computerized and synchronized musical holiday light show. The videos we have posted will give you a taste, but to fully experience it, COME SEE IT IN PERSON. • It is free to watch • It last about 15 minutes • You can watch it from the warmth of your vehicle • The best view is from the Dickson City Kmart Parking Lot • You can listen to it on 92.3 FM. • It start each night at 6:00 PM and runs on a continuous loop until 10:30 PM • Representatives will be standing watch in the Dickson City Kmart parking lot and Feel Good Motors Dickson City to collect donations • If you want to help us reach our goal of collecting 10,000 toys over the weekend of the 5th and 6th, and you cannot make it in person, you can donate to the Toys For Tots organization directly from our website: feelgoodmotorsinc.net/ToyForTots.aspx This is how we hope to attract you here. The Show is FREE to watch, but once you are here, we hope you will consider making a donation to whatever Charity or Organization is here the evening you view the show. It is the Holiday Season. Feel Good Lights hopes you can pause for a minute and make a commitment to help us with just one benefit, charity, or organization this Holiday Season. If all you can do is give your time, give your time. If you can help spread the word, spread the word. If you can give money, even a dollar, give money. Many organizations, charities, or groups support great causes that could use your help. If all you can do is come see the show, come see the show. Dec 10th Dickson City Fired Department Dec 12th: ERA of Clarkes Summit will be here to Collect Donations for Coats for Kids Dec 13th: Frankie’s Voice Dec 15th: Justus Fire Department Dec 18th: Moscow Fire Department Dec 19th: United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) Dec 20th: Elmhurst Roaring Brook Fire Department We will update the schedule as we get more commitments from local organizations.
