Dear Prime Minister, I have just come from the Sabzi Mandi of my city and I feel quite disillusioned with the roaring prices, particularly when I am your lonely fan. I belong to a middle class family where every penny is accounted and spent on value and therefore I have to limit down my other lifestyle pleasures. And it is evident that what could be the situation of billions of people who are below in level even than my family. You are a great economist and a man of high integrity and dignity and I dont have even a slightest of doubt over it. But what has happened to an economist who is the hero of economic liberalisation and privatisation that he has allowed extreme socialist, communist and environmentalist elements to build hegemony under the leadership of UPA Chairperson within unconstitutional framework of National Advisory Council and proving consequential in passing fiscal deficit stimulating Food Security Act and cumbersome and time inefficient Land Acquisition Act. Except Narendra Modi, there is none to raise voice against these populist items, either from his or your party and infact your partys vice president termed him anti poor and pro industrialist. Economic reforms are more or less the panacea for the overall reforms in governance and society but they have been poorly institutionalised and less broadened in your regime except some highly debated FDI in multibrand retail. These deficits have given rise to self styled protagonist of nationalism and more rigid communist and socialists like Baba Ramdev, Arvind Kejriwal,Rajiv Dixit etc and communal Narendra Modi. In this context, Narendra Modi, however a culprit of 2002 massacre but now promising everyones company and different secularism with your ideals of economy will deliever. Employment and education will counter every ill whether it is food, poverty or even communalism.
