Dear Readers, I just received a call from Tarzan Sameer regarding the sterilization centre in Kalyan which we all animal lovers had shut, where my name is mentioned that i was involved in such activity. Yes! we all did signature campaign to close down that shelter which was open good for nothing. The reason behind shutting the centre is as follows :- 1. No proper hygiene 2. The dogs which were admitted they dont used to get their food till 4-4 days 3. No cleanliness of blood, potty and urine in the shelter premises and inside the cage. 4. The cages were overloaded with 3 dogs as ideally only 1 dog should be entertained in 1 cage. 5. No paper work nothing to identify that which dog is picked up from which area so as to release the same dog on his location only. Which was totally not happening, the dog which used to get picked up from 1 area never returned back. In my area only many new dogs arrived without coming to my knowledge and didnt came to know when the dogs were released. My area dogs started fighting each other and in this one of my dog lost his 1 eye. Dont you think after going into extreme an animal lover will sit quite. 6. No proper stitches even after releasing also after few days dogs stitches used to get opened, the ears were also not cropped properly. 7. Once the dog goes in the centre in a healthy state and when the dogs returned back after a week you will dogs condition as a mal- nourished. Without a reason no 1 is mad to do signature campaign and forcefully close down the shelter. For us dogs good health is the only thing which we want to see, if such things are happening will you sit quite ? And do consider this as a psycho animal lover ? Many people are given such names as Psycho animal lovers from local NGO who was against with this campaign. Since day 1 my name is been maligned uselessly where people dont come forward even after having all sources and then do bad mouthing if a genuine activist trying to help any 1. Get me 1 person who is genuine animal lover and if he says that whatever i did is wrong, i shall quit animal welfare thats a promise. Regards, Darshak Shah
