Dear Runners, "When you train on a hill, self pity is a sin" - Sharath We have Hill Training this Thursday. Agenda: Burning Quads & Bursting Lungs, Concentrate on Running Posture Place to assemble: Whisper valley (near the speed breaker at the lane leading to Whisper valley) Time to assemble: 0530 hrs Warm-up run: 0540 hrs Hill Running: 0545 hrs Reps: 1-2 ascends at whisper valley & rest of the ascends at BRN hills Pace: 7:00 mins/Km (average pace for ascent & decent together) Cool-down: from 0645 hrs Caution: Hill trainings are highly addictive and can cause injury. Warm up will be easy running for about 1Kms to get the muscles into action. Cool down will also have to be a minimum of 1 Km run followed by stretching which will be on the western side of the BNR hills. Please carry water and energy bars as per your consumption.
