Dear West Muskingum Community, At West Muskingum High School today, administrators found a note in a student restroom indicating a bomb would go off at 3:15 p.m. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department was immediately contacted. As part of the district’s emergency procedure plan students were placed in a soft lockdown. There was no evidence of a bomb following a check of the building by law enforcement with the bomb sniffing dog.
