Dear friends, All of you know that my wife and I have been having marital difficulties for some time now.She has recently applied to court to have me removed from the house that I boughtin her name and the court hearing is on Tuesday Aug 13th.I thought of representing myself at the hearing as I am not eligible for legal because I own half of the property in Greece,the other half being owned by my wife.She has however managed to obtain legal aid although she owns much more than I do,probably by failing to disclose her assets,which has put her in an advantageous position over me. At first I didn’t mind representing myself because I thought the only subject of the hearing will be whether I will have to move out of the house or not.However,when I visited the CAB on Friday together with the professional who is in charge of my healthcare,both my health worker and I were shocked when we were told by the CAB adviser that my wife wants the court to virtually ban me from seeing my children,and if the court reaches such a decision next Tuesday,I will be in breach of law if I attempt to have any contact with them other than when supervised.She accuses me of being horrible and abusive to them,and of a kidnapping attempt on top of everything else.The accusations my wife has showered me with are for all of you who know me not only ridiculous,but plainly untrue and malicious.It is now obvious that she wants to remove me not only from her own life,but also from the life of my precious children,thus depriving them of a gentle and loving father that all of you know I am.I was therefore advised by the CAB lawyer to raise money somehow and find a solicitor for the Tuesday court hearing, otherwise I will definitely lose the children on account of simply not being familiar with the court procedure. This letter is a desperate father’s cry for help. I managed to arrange a solicitor and so far have raised £325 out of the £1000 necessary to cover her costs.I beg for your help.I am sure that if my children knew what is happening,they would beg you as well.By helping us now,you are not only influencing my life and the future lives of my little ones,but you are also preventing evil to come into this world and deception to triumph over truth,and a travesty of justice to take place.I will let you know my solicitor’s account details at 9.30 am on Monday,please give as much as you can via a bank transfer between 9.30 and 12.I will make note of all moneys received and return them as soon as I can.My solicitor says that I stand a big chance of winning the case in the light of all the references I obtained from relevant professionals.Those of you who have known me long enough,please e mail me a character reference as well.To my dear Facebook friends-I welcome any emotional support you can give me in these extremely difficult and painful times.Love for my children is my only weapon.Let the truth prevail!!!
