Dear friends, As you are probably aware by now, my husband - TopicsExpress

Dear friends, As you are probably aware by now, my husband Mitchell received a kidney transplant this past February after many months of illness and suffering. What you may not be aware, however, is how he obtained his miraculous new lease on life. Through Renewal, a Jewish nonprofit organization based in Brooklyn, a selfless individual, AJ Gindi, who had never met me or Mitch nor had any reason other than pure kindness to help us, came to our rescue and gave Mitch a kidney. Renewal, dedicated to assisting people suffering from various forms of kidney disease – including pairing kidney donors with those in need of a transplant- has come to the rescue of hundreds of individuals in the Jewish community. In fact, the organization is currently facilitating about one transplant a week; at least four Hillcrest families alone have been the recipient of the organization’s outreach over the past year! Additionally, it provides crucial services to both the donor and recipient throughout the process making a difficult time as seamless as possible. On July 3rd, Renewal is hosting a benefit honoring the “Kidney Donors” – people who like my hero, AJ Gindi, – are responsible for saving countless Jewish lives. We are forever indebted to Renewal for finding Mitch a willing donor and thereby enabling him to regain his strength and once again enjoy his family and day to day life. With this in mind, we ask you to kindly consider donating a kidney, or to help by donating to this worthy cause. All donations are, of course, tax-deductible and will directly help people like Mitch. If you are able to help, message me. Fondly, Molly and Mitch Bornstein
