Dear friends, this status update finds me broken in body and in heart. As a result of a boating accident several days ago, Ive been in and out of the hospital, had my ear sewn back on my head twice, had a broken back and a concussion, had a crushed right arm and hip and a scraped left leg, and taken enough meds to stop a horse. However, none of that matters. All that matters is that we lost Alya. My heart is broken because of that loss. Please send your love, prayers, and support to Alyas family. In my drug-and-concussion-induced state I missed Alyas memorial service. I have reached out to Alyas family and ask that you do the same. I dont need anything, please send everything to her family. I appreciate all the prayers and support you have already given!
