Dear no one in particular, What gives you the audacity to approach me with a request to photograph portfolio shots for you with the expectation that I will pay you for the privilege? I know there is nothing special about my work, but I put a good bit of effort into it. I have made the cash investment, well in excess of $15,000.00 in equipment and training and spent an obscene amount of time and effort on improving my craft over the last couple of years. I am overly generous the amount of time I spend during prep, shoot, and post prod for my clients and the people I collaborate with to make the best pictures that Im capable of. Do you have something to offer besides tardiness, bad skin, split ends, no ability to emote/pose/move, crappy taste in clothes, and a diva attitude? Your willingness to display your boobs and repeating the same vapid facial expression over and over doesnt really bring a lot of value to a serious photographer. There needs to be more than just minimum effort. I realize this rant was not professional or constructive and probably mean, but I just couldnt manage to bite my tongue today. Cheers!
