Dear riders, A couple of weeks ago my friend wreck his TR3 2005 - TopicsExpress

Dear riders, A couple of weeks ago my friend wreck his TR3 2005 and I inherited his heated grips and his Corbin beetle saddle bags because he did not have them on the bike at the moment of the accident, so sad I could not get a hold of the original Triumph floorboards and the Jardine exhaust and etc. this bike had. Long story short, as I rescued the Corbin beetle saddlebags (Fiberglass $ 1800 - $ 2000) The brackets to mount these were on his bike so I have no way to put them on my TR. I look everywhere on line and call Corbin for this hardware, they do not sale the pieces unless you are the original buyer and with the invoice number, call you dealer and maybe trough them you can get them there is no warranties ad it will take several weeks. Looking at the instructions on line I realized that there is only spacers bolts and a couple of litle brackets that go from the passenger pedal to the back to hold the weight of the bags. Colman Powersport wants me to pay $ 250 fir this kit to get it probably several months after. This is ridiculous, I decided to do it myself and will post all this process her with pics and in youtube just in case somebody need this information later. I will keep you posted. By the way the heated grips work great but the triumph instructions are so crapy that I had to figure it out on my own. The fist pic is my stock bike and the second pic is for the Corbin webside and thats how I want my bike to look, even thoug the bags are silver, but I will deal with that later same with a key for the locks, wish me luck my TR3 brothers.....
