Dearest and Most Amazing Castlemaine Folk! Does anyone know of anyone looking for two freakin awesome housemates? Chrissie and I are moving to your delightful town and thought it would be grand to live other folk who know and love the area. Having a home that is a warm and wecloming space where housemates are friends as well as residents. Wed like to fill it with all the things that make it a home, not just a house. We each have spent a few years living overseas and so would be very happy to live in a diverse household. We like folk who have a hunger and passion for life. People on a freakin mission! Creativity is encouraged. We are looking for people who like being sociable when at home, enjoy conversation and sharing ideas, going out to gigs, eating food and enjoying a quiet night in, all the while respecting the space of others when some downtime is needed. About us: Chrissie - I work in Bendigo in sustainability. Im looking to live in a house that has a nice vibe and housemates that exhibit all the normal nice housemate traits - consideration, tidiness, cleanliness, ability to hold a conversation etc. Most of my socialising is done out of the house, but it is also great to have people over every so often. When I have people over for dinner my housemates are of course invited and Id love for my housemates to feel comfortable chatting with my (lovely) friends. Most weekends I am found hanging out with friends or somewhere in the wilderness on an outdoor adventure. I love rockclimbing, finger painting, exploring new ideas/philosophies, reading, running and dancing. I really want to get into trapeze and one day Id like to convert a church into a pilates studio! Alex - Im a 29yr old, Freelance Sound Engineer working in the Music and Television Industries. Which results in me being a very keen fan of just about ALL music and watcher of very little TV. I have lived overseas for a few years and am very interested in exploring the world around us. When Im not working I like going to gigs (whether they be music or performance), reading, hiking, discussing world affairs/philosophy/art, playing music, picnics in parks, sleeping, recording bands, travelling around the world, running, riding my bike, cooking and drinking beers in the sunshine. Oh and Im into wooden furniture design so I like to build bits and pieces every now and then. I also like getting my nerd on and whipping out the old soldering iron to build audio stuff. My working hours range from 4am-10pm depending on the day and time of year, but generally Im home by 8pm. Occasionally I travel interstate for work and am away for a few days at a time. Many thanks!
