Dearly beloved in Christ! It is our duty to ask for this power - TopicsExpress

Dearly beloved in Christ! It is our duty to ask for this power from the Lord. Then He will be with us all the time just as He was with the Lord Jesus. The Lord who promised is faithful; He will certainly give His power to those who are committed to Him. All authority in the earth as well as in heaven has been given to Him (Matthew 28:18). Today, let us receive this authority from Him. God has sent His only begotten Son Jesus into this earth only for this purpose. He has many names such as a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Let us ask Him with a longing in order to inherit His power. May the prayer of Jacob be our prayer as well, Lord! I will not let You go unless You bless me! Lord Jesus said, “…your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). As you are a child of God, He is delighted to give you the power and authority that belongs to His kingdom so that you could do exploits for Him. Receive them through your faith in Him.
