Debbie Update: Shes still in the hospital. Tomorrow is day 8 and counting. Her swelling and pain are getting worse day by day and they dont know what it is yet. They have planned to do a muscle biopsy in three days, but that may change. Not sure yet. They have to wait that long for the blood thinners to get out of her system so it would be safe to do it. If they did it, then they could also do the breast cancer biopsy at the same time and save another surgical time later on. Were waiting on (1) the doc team to decide for sure which way they are going and (2) for insurance to approve whatever plan they come up with. Jay was with Debbie all day today so I went out to work for a little while just so I dont forget how to take a piano apart. Shes still smiling and in good spirits which I sure as heck wouldnt be. That is one strong woman, folks. Shes amazing, actually. Keep up your thoughts and prayers, please. Ted
