December 2nd, 2012 this world lost an angel...but Heaven gained one more. Today marked 1 year since my grandpa Bud passed away. Although the vast majority of this year was spent mourning that loss in a hard way, I can hold my head high in knowing Im ending this year with my chin up. Yesterdays benefit was a tribute to my grandfather. I didnt really get to say that...but it was proof that his hard work, determination, & support system has rubbed off on me. Grandpa Im so thankful for that! Im DAMN proud to be a Butler & represent on his behalf. Nobody ever understands or is even built to comprehend death. Its beyond us, but its an opened door to an eternal, breath taking paradise for them. A year ago I recorded this song from an MP3 karaoke track in the wrong key, in a closet, buried between clothes, with tears in my eyes from start to finish for my Grandpas memorial service. Id give anything to have him back. I Miss u terribly, more & more every single day ♥ Love you more than you could ever imagine ♥ Striving to live out your legacy in just being a good person to everyone around me.
