Decided to give myself further education on the Middle East conflicts to update myself to come to an informed opinion on this whole Celiphate issue. First I decided to consult the great Hitch on his opinions of UN involvement in Iraq because after all, like many users of social media and the internet may know, there is a plethora of auto-terrorism and misinformation out there (Hitch made ignorance his life-long enemy); for example the classic conspiracy that the government begins wars solely for oil. Members of the UN have an obligation to intervene in countries whose leaders/government have violated the Geneva Conventions which Hussein did and thus prompted Western intervention in Iraq that as we all should know led to his downfall. Hitchens response to this audience members statement far surpasses how Im attempting to open a forum on this topic. My motivation for this research is so I can decide whether this recent ISIS video murder is a heinous and desperate act of freedom fighters or if this is yet another example of humanitys love for acting in the name of a god (which in my opinion is an archaic and evil motivation that overshadows the amazing innovations of humanity). https://youtube/watch?v=iouhwXTQJIU
