Deferred Action, not Amnesty Obamas action would allow 5 or 10 - TopicsExpress

Deferred Action, not Amnesty Obamas action would allow 5 or 10 million illegals to register and avoid deportation for 3 years. After that theyd be known, and we could deport them. So maybe they might not all rush to accept Obamas deferred action. However, Obamas registration policy is legislative in its nature, and not within the prerogative of the Executive. It is unconstitutional and will be challenged. But if Congress fails to override Obamas plan, then it is most likely that the non-deportable status will hold, until we finally raise the status to full citizenship. Thus Obama will have succeeded in instigating an effective naturalization for these illegals. The nice thing is that Obama has limited the number of qualifying illegals much more than what was earlier expected. However, the proper thing to do would be to first regain control over our borders. Illegals are still streaming in, and we can also expect a flow of foreign terrorists. Inasmuch as the sudden flux of new workers will displace many entry-level workers, our low income citizens will be badly hurt. Welfare and entitlement programs will dry up, and crime will increase. foxnews/politics/2014/11/20/in-immigration-speech-obama-will-announce-protective-status-for-two-groups/
