Delhi 84 After the assassination of Indira Gandhi on 31 October 1984, anti-Sikh riots erupted on 1 November 1984, and continued in some areas for days. The attacks on members of the Sikh Community in Delhi and its suburbs during the period were the outcome of a well organized plan marked by acts of top politicians.
