Delighted to announce I raised £1274 in total for Trisomy Nine Mosaic Charity and little Holly Kitchen daughter of my awesome 30 Plus Bootcamp Liverpool client Barry Kitchen. The money raised will go towards a stair lift being fitted in the house to make it easier for Holly to go up and down the stairs....... Tough Mudder was once again a truly amazing experience and I am truly overwhelmed that we took over 50 clients there (some who only joined our programmes in the last month) to compete. Fair play guys and girls you have trained your socks off and were outstanding yesterday.... Gotta give a special mention to Gavin Kowalski one of my online clients of whom I had never met in person until yesterday - we ended up together for basically 11 miles of the course , went at it hard, he saw me fall over about 5 times, and we put the world to rights throughout the race. To see so many of our awesome clients cross that finish line was incredible, the team spirit an togetherness from everyone was exactly what I set out to create when I launched the bootcamps 4 years ago.... Daf Stone - Mark Lloyd special mention to you guys too, setting up 30 Plus Bootcamp Vale of Glamorgan franchise in January - not only making it a huge success, but getting all the lads ready physically and mentally for the race when it was their first time, deserves recognition....... Shout to our awesome Booty Camp - Cardiffs Female Only Fitness Boot camp girls Laura Cozens - Kerry Rockey - Cherise Annan - Gillian Cummins and Jessica Jones who joined the lads to get round the course with no problems and big shout to Abbie Skene for getting em ready too...... Next year I want to take over 100 of us and raise even more money for charity but for now its feet up before we go again tomorrow :) Proud to be part of it -)
