Democrats in the senate were forced to use the nuclear option due to the same absolute obstruction there, to override mean-spirited partisan holds on legitimate appointees by people such as LINDSAY GRAHAM. President Obama, like every president has the constitutional right to make these appointments. This congress thanks to the republicanshas the worst job record of any congress in history and the LOWEST approval rating. These same republicans gathered on the night our president was inaugurated and agreed not to work with him. I wonder what the founding fathers would have said about that? It has been one radical tea partier, Canadian, Raphael Ted Cruz, who has abused the philibuster process, hurt our credit rating, and nearly devastated our economic standing.
