Dereks Home! Were glad well all be in our own beds tonight. Thanks everyone for checking in! Going to be tough to keep him quiet for over 2 weeks + shoulder healing time. The orthopedic doctor said his shoulder would heal fine. No surgery needed. The Head & Neck doctor said the membrane didnt rupture - that it tore from the wall of the ear. That should heal in about 2 weeks. She thinks his hearing will be fine. Well have a hearing test in a few weeks. He has to rest for 10 days at home to heal the concussion. Very little iPod, TV. No reading, schoolwork, swimming or running around. Thanks to everyone for checking on us, your messages and texts. Mostly, thanks for your prayers and Thanks to God for his blessings, goodness and His work through the Doctors and nurses.
