Despite having agreed personal terms with Orlando Pirates, Zambian International Evans Kangwa has reportedly snubbed Orlando Pirates and decided to join Hapoel Raananain Israel instead. Last month sources at Pirates had insisted that the player had signed a three year deal with the club, however sources in Zambia now say the 22-year-old Nkana striker will join the Israeli club this week on a one-year deal. Nkana chairperson John Chiwele said they were pleased with the offer for the striker. He will initially be on loan with an option to sign him permanently,” Chiwele said. Kangwa has scored ten competitive goals so far this year eight from 14 games played for Nkana and another two with Zambia in a 2-1 friendly win over Uganda on March 5 in Ndola. This is the second time Pirates have failed to sign the player following a previous deal in 2012 fell through after Kangwa had agreed personal terms with the Buccaneers.
