Destroys his haters? Where? That just sounded like him trying to redirect attention away from his tweets by stating something we all agree with in the first place. We ALL agree that we do not want to send our soldiers into ANY battle, that war is a very unfortunate reality of the world. Probably most of us agree that the Iraq war was a fraudulent one too, but do not wish to diminish those soldiers who went there thinking only of duty. All these are givens. But in regards to his tweets, Moore NEVER directly addresses his statement Snipers arent heroes. His explanation about what happened to his uncle and what his dad raised him to think, at best, were weak excuses. As well, there is simply no other way to interpret that tweet other than Moore thinking ALL snipers are cowards, that they are not worthy of being heralded as heroes as much as any other soldier. So I do not see where he destroys his detractors. It just seems like more back-peddling on his part. I think in an effort to make a provocative tweet about the movie, he merely stepped in it and then inserted his foot in his mouth, and now hes doing everything possible to dig it out and get far from it.
