Did anybody else find Cheneys interview last night on 60 Minutes a little odd? Yes, hes pushing his insipid book, but whenever conservatives do that, they usually go to warmer climes, like Limbaugh or Fox. For Cheney to agree to sit with 60 Minutes; the epitome of the liberal media to schlep his book, strikes me as strange. Unless thats not the only reason why he went there. The Cheney brand is about as politically toxic as it gets, and its not as if he needs the money from those book sales. Methinks its more about rehabilitating the name to help his daughter Liz, whos getting crushed in her primary challenge against Sen. Mike Enzi -- shes down by 30 points in the latest poll. Call me suspicious, but I didnt buy the kinder, gentler Dick.
