Did you know that 5,600 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with ALS each year? And that the average life expectancy once diagnosed is only 2-5 years? Now you know. I was challened to the ASL Ice Bucket Challenge by Chelsie Casper. I now challenge Brad Iverson, Derrick Keddington, and Whitney Davis. Because Im not able to donate right now, and because I feel like people should donate out of a sincere desire and not because of social media peer pressure, my challenge for the three of you is to not only dump a bucket of ice water on your head, but to learn something new about ASL and to share it with the rest of the inter-web.
