Did you know that Reiki is offered by the Mayo Clinic and over 800 other hospitals in the United States? I am a Reiki Master and Affiliate Member of the International Center for Reiki Training and have been studying the discipline for over 6 years. It is constant work. If you are interested in a session, please PM me and well make arrangements! From the Mayo Clinic Health System Website: Reiki Reiki (ray key) is a non-invasive healing method that promotes relaxation, enhances the bodys natural healing abilities, and fosters mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Like Healing Touch, Reiki is based on the idea of an energy field that permeates the human body. What happens at a Reiki session The person receiving Reiki remains fully clothed and lies on a comfortable table while the Reiki practitioner lightly places hands in various positions on or near the body. The person usually experiences relaxation and peacefulness during the hour-long session. Shorter treatments can be given to a person in a hospital bed, recliner or chair. How its used Reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose energy has become unbalanced. The healing energy of Reiki can be used to provide relief from conditions such as fatigue, pain, anxiety, negative side effects of treatments and medications, joint problems, and other ailments. Reiki does not replace, but rather is easily integrated with any medical treatment and other therapies to assist in activating a persons inner healing potential. Reiki is now being used in a growing number of hospitals and clinics throughout the United States and throughout the world. mayoclinichealthsystem.org/locations/onalaska/medical-services/complementary-medicine/center-for-health-and-healing/reiki
