•Diet – critical to get this dog on a low-carb diet. High carb diets have been linked to epilepsy for over 70 years (see ketogenic diet/John’s Hopkins University). In my practice, the minimum is grain free diet, preferably fed in moist form. •Neurotrophin PMG – nerve/brain support. Dosage: 1 SID x 10d, then 1 BID. •Canine Hepatic Support – liver support/detox support. Dosage: see package label for dosage according to body weight. •Ribonucleic Acid – promotes enhanced microcirculation, especially of capillaries. Dosage: 1 SID x 10d, then 1 BID This is where I would start. Once at full dose with all 3 supplements, give this combination for 12 weeks and reevaluate the dog’s response. Epilepsy is a condition that may require long-term nutritional support with one or more of these supplements.
