I love love love the sound of the rain at night! Storm moving through and it is wonderful. I have been nursing a swollen bruised right knee and foot all day. Yesterday I made the stupid mistake of calling out squirrel while I was standing between the couch, lazy boy chair and the sliding glass door! All three gigantic dogs raced for the door knocking me and my fresh cup of coffee off my feet. I slammed down on my right knee on the tile and twisted my foot, probably because I held on to the coffee cup. My husband heard me and came running out of the shower naked. So I hobbled to the couch saying bad bad things under my breath while he cleaned up all the coffee. Yes he was still naked. Men! Have they no shame? My knee looks really nice today. Sort of a purplish blue color. This is the third time I have been knocked down or tripped over these dogs. I have broken my right foot twice. I tripped over Bella in the middle of the night. The second time it was my own fault trying to slip on some underware and stand up at the same time while again holding a coffee cup. I dont really know what my husband said when that happened, he was laughing so hard! He did pick me up and put me on the bed but then he ran out if the room laughing. Another time was in California at a dog park and the dogs were running behind me and obviously not paying attention. One slammed into the back of me, knocking me off my feet. My shoes flew off and one of them was on the other side of the fence in the middle of a 4 lane road. But anyway, the rain is nice tonight!
