Digital Performer users - I am getting an error that a lot of - TopicsExpress

Digital Performer users - I am getting an error that a lot of people seem to get but I cannot find any solutions. Upon booting DP in Windows, I am getting The Direct Music MIDI Clock does not appear to be running. MIDI may not play back. message. I see a lot of people posting they have this issue but no resolution. It is believe it is an issue with the ASIO drivers, which I use with my M-Audio devices. Suggestions? Thoughts? Oh, and just for an added bit of fun, guess who M-Audio sold some of their product lines to so future Win 8 drivers are questionable at best...?
