Directed by Gareth Edwards. (Godzilla 2014) is a.... well youll find out in a minute. Godzilla 2014 is a realistic take on what would happen if Monsters were real. And a realistic take on What would these Monsters do if they met face to face, in an interview Gareth Edwards had said Ok in the movie, hes real he exists and hes out there. what would he be doing? Theyre animals, what would these Monsters be doing. is it their goal to cause destruction? He even said Imagine if this monster was real, and it had attacked, New York or some random city/town in the early 40s and TOHO decided to make a movie based on those events. And how itd feel to watch those movies knowing they happened in real life, well imagine if Godzilla 2014 Actually happened in Seattle. Gareth made the movie realistic and by realistic he showed us what would happen in that situation if Godzilla actually attacked Seattle. and fought two other monsters in that city. and how the military would deal with it and how everyone in the city would deal with it... This movie is Amazing. When I first heard about this movie I thought to myself that this movie would not happen and that it was a rumour just like how there was Godzilla being brought out in 2012 never happened Godzilla coming out in 2013 didnt happen. Godzilla 2014 Happened. I continued to read short articals on the internet about it and I still didnt believe it. yet then later on I saw a Trailer. I watched it and it was convincing. And then the trailer popped up on TV. I started to realise it was coming and I was getting excited to see this movie. Then...it finally came to the Bendigo Cinemas. I asked someone to come with me and Anthony Morse Came with me and when we watched the movie. I sat there and...watched it all the way till the very end. litrally when the credits come rolling up I continued to watch it. I asked Anthony if we could watch it again. but obviously we didnt the movie was amazing I cant describe.... Back in 2004 I liked Godzilla 1998. and by 2011 I began to hate it once I saw the original movies. I liked the original Japanese movies more than the 1998 movie. I even thought after a while that the 1998 American version was horrible. yet still a watchable movie :) So by 2013 I lost interest in watching the Godzilla movies. I started to feel board with the Godzilla movies and I was going to stop watching them as I lost interest in those movies. UNTIL I saw Godzilla 2014. it changed the way I thought of Godzilla. and this Godzilla movies doesnt tribute the first 1954s version it tributes the whole franchise :) So this movie...Is indeed a big 10 out of 10 for me :) If youre a big fan of monster movies then check this one out, its awesome :)
