Discipleship is not barkadahan though it works BEST but in the context of relationship. If you are meeting just to bond, laugh and enjoy Gods presence and word then you are not accomplishing the purpose of discipleship. Jesus had a wonderful relationship with His disciples but He chose them more than to bond and laugh with them. He chose them for a mission: To save the world in His name. And so Jesus formed, equipped and trained them with a time table (31/2 years) then He sent them to the world and they radically fulfilled what they were called for! - Do you have a time table for the disciples God has assigned to you? - Are you meeting just to have fun or you are meeting because they have a great purpose to fulfill and you have a task to equip them for that work? - Are you raising world changers?
