Discovered 30+ of these large, female Black and Yellow Argiope - TopicsExpress

Discovered 30+ of these large, female Black and Yellow Argiope Spiders this week while visiting Dundas, Ontario. They were all contained within a 20 foot section of vegetation. Thought my fellow members might enjoy watching the stealth and quickness that this spider displays. These webs were built in low-lying vegetation and shrubs alongside a river. Insects, including bees and wasps, were becoming entangled almost every minute. This was shot in real time and has not been sped up. They really are that fast when cocooning prey, before injected them with venom. (watch in 1080p HD for best quality)
