Discovered in an old septic tank at a home for unwed mothers in Tuam, Ireland, which was run by the Congregation of the Sisters of of Bon Secours, a Catholic religious order. Apparently, at one point babies were dying at the rate of two a week. Children there died of everything from malnutrition to tuberculosis. And lest you think this was a long time ago, the period covered runs up to 1961. What, no consecrated ground available, even if they couldnt afford coffins?
