Do...Good Morning...with assurance I am positively #pouringintoyou Do. I am positive that if you do these things your cup will overflow. Your life will overflow. Others will receive your overflow. Its a little different approach this morning but its a new year and we need foundation on which to stand. Our mind can have the concept to do good. We can even say it with our lips but the failure to do it makes it null and void. So...here are a few Dos that we can work on daily and remember...this is only some. These are not always in any particular order. In event you have not accepted Jesus as Savior...thats the first step. If you have doubt about your salvation or if you have damaged your relationship with The Lord, it has to be renewed and repaired. Many scriptures are written to the saints. You must be part of the family. For example; you love everybody...right? So does God. You try to treat everybody right...right? But...did you buy everybody a Christmas gift? No!!! Well, God has gifts of favor, blessing and delight that are only for His Family. 1) Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV) 2) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:33-34 KJV) 3) Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (Matthew 5:3-12 KJV) 4) And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. (Luke 6:31 KJV) 5) Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV) 6) Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (Psalms 37:4 KJV) This is a start...work on you with these this weekend with self.
