Do Not Neglect Your Spouse .. The Prophet (pbuh) said...When you get married you have completed half your religion. Marriage is a beautiful blessing. To want to be married is also a beautiful blessing !!! Peace with your spouse is more important than the desire to be right all the time. You don’t have to prove you are right every time. Choose your battles wisely. Your marriage is more important than your ego. Whenever one spouse wins, marriage loses. AND the rest...Allah already knows that your spouse is not a perfect person. That is why Allah made in you a helper suitable for her. Therefore a virtuous man or woman does not waste time criticizing thier spouses flaws, faults & weakness. A virtuous spouse knows that his/her first divine responsibility is being a suitable helper for him/her man/woman. When a marriage/relationship falls apart we wonder, What just happened? We are shocked bcoz usually marriage/relationship that fail appear very strong from a distance. But the reality is that a lot has been happening behind the scenes over a long period of time. marriage/relationship doesnt just fall apart suddenly. marriage/relationship falls apart in installments, little by little, a crack here and a crack there, and a leak here and a leak there. Some marriage/relationship begin to fall apart before the couple says, I do. Usually its not the big things that cause divorce. Its the small things that are neglected over a period of time. Remember, a stitch in time saves nine. Dont neglect the small things in marriage/relationship. Take care of the small problems and the big ones will take care of themselves. Catch all the foxes, those little foxes, before they ruin the vineyard of love, for the grapevines are blossoming.
