Live pure and blameless lives a. Every Christian is called to be above reproach b. Everyone will be judged c. We’ve been given justification for our sins, God has made us whole & holy d. Are you using what God has given you? e. Cause & Effect of this verse: Live pure & blameless life i. You won’t be carried away from your position as a Christian ii. Others will witness our behavior and engage in a relationship with Christ and will be strengthened 2. Evangelize for the Lord a. We are waiting for his return b. For some they are just passing the time not doing anything c. Now is the time to passionately pursue the Lord 3. Anticipate His Return! - Anticipate is to look ahead to something or an event with pleasure a. We are to eagerly anticipate his return with pleasure b. Everyone should be excited c. The day of his return; we will be in paradise with him d. There will be no more pain & suffering; no illness e. Those who do not know Christ; there will be pain, suffering & destruction f. Matthew 24:14 g. As we wait we have a job to do and it is to tell others about Jesus forgiveness
