Do people remember this? Probably not because it didnt get national news attention. I am not saying that just because this guy worked as a Fireman that his life is worth more than Michael Browns. Just like Brown he made a bad decision, just like Brown he didnt deserve to die, but bad decisions sometimes come with worse consequences. The lesson learned should be to not put yourself in the situation. I do think these things should be looked at and something can be done to keep these officers involved from being forced to make a decision that will also change their lives forever. Maybe officers should always work in pairs or wear cameras? That is still not going to solve all these situations. The family of this individual is suing for wrongfull death, which they have the right to do, but they are doing it peacefully. The people rioting in Ferguson are not only racist, they actually want racism to stay around so they can feel like they are owed something...
