Do the people working for American Mensa have to qualify for Mensa? I think not. I rejoined after a 32 year lapse in May. There was no place to enter my address so I assumed it would be sent to my credit card billing address. Wrong assumption, it was sent to a former duty station in CA. I notified Mensa that I had not received my card and gave them the correct address in June. By July, still no card. I posted on the American Mensa page and contacted Mensa. It was implied that the card was resent to the 32 year old address. Requested another card, this time instead of my mailing address, I gave them the post office box I use in the winter. Two days ago, I returned south and checked the box. Still no card. Posted again on the Mensa page and emailed customer service. This time, I said a considerate organization would add free months onto my membership equal to the number of months it has taken to get a simple membership card to me. Just received an email from David Munoz, Mensa membership director, saying politely to piss off, I dont need the card.
