Do we have a problem with some bad police officers? Yes. However, let us not stick our heads or hearts in the sand and walk about in foolishness. We also have a MASSIVE problem with people who have little to no respect for law and it is directly related to the circumstances surrounding whether they were raised with solid principals and sound moral judgment or not. In addition, we have an equal problem with crime from those who feel empowered through some sense of civil or vigilante justice. Making the police accountable while we fail to address the gargantuan problems in society will do nothing to make those falsely entitled and empowered unlawful citizens comply within the law. I am equally concerned about both, but I am very disturbed by the deafening silence regarding the behavior of the falsely empowered and lawless activities of people.
