Do you know a child who loves to sing? The Jacksonville Childrens Chorus is now auditioning for grades 1 through 12 for the second half of its 2014-15 season. Auditions are on: Monday, January 12 and Thursday, January 15 While prior musical training is not necessary to participate in the Jacksonville Childrens Chorus, an audition is required. Children will be placed in the appropriate choir group based on their skills, maturity and readiness. The audition process is quick and simple. You do not need to bring a prepared audition piece. A conductor will listen for the singers ability to match pitches, to learn a simple tune, and to hold ones voice part against others. Auditions are by appointment only.
