Do you remember the Asa Hutchinson prosecution of the Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord (CSA)? This was a huge deal with national news coverage. Everything you read declares Asa successfully prosecuted the organization. Let me take you back to 1985 when 300 Federal Agents converged on the CSA Compound in North Arkansas. The founder of CSA, James Ellison surrendered peaceably and was prosecuted by Asa Hutchinson for ILLEGAL WEAPON POSSESSION. What was the bottom line? The Government spent millions of dollars, Asa Hutchinson got national name recognition and James Ellison spent two years in prison. No, Asa didnt get the Golden Fleece Award, it must be an oversight? The two year prison term of James Ellison may be Asas greatest success of all time. As founder of Homeland Securitys Border Security, I cant see any success at all. Anybody and everybody who wanted to cross our borders illegally did so with regularity. So much so that nobody has any idea how many illegal aliens we have lurking her, where they are or what theyre up to. Asa is willing to move back to Arkansas if We The People will allow him to live in the Governors Mansion and cut ribbons. He and Mike Ross are even willing to cut Arkansas State Income Tax a smidgen. Do you hear the thunder? Its the sound of Texas Residents stampeding across the border to Arkansas. Once the word gets out that Asa Hutchinson and Mike Ross are willing to cut taxes a smidgen, everybody will catch the Mike Ross, Asa Hutchinson, Big Government Blues!!!
