Do you think it is noteworthy that in July President Obama signed an executive order extending the list of quarantinable diseases as follows: (b) Severe acute respiratory syndromes, which are diseases that are associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, are capable of being transmitted from person to person, and that either are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic, or, upon infection, are highly likely to cause mortality or serious morbidity if not properly controlled. It does seem a rather unlikely coincidence that President Obama signed this a couple of months ago and now we have ebola in the US which clearly fits that definition of quarantinable diseases. Were they expecting this to happen? Is this all just a coincidence?
