Doctor who rant. SPOILERS. (river song hehehe) Deep breath: ok so basically I really dont know how I feel or how I should feel. The episode overall, i thought was quite good, but not good for a regeneration first episode. I think it would have been a lot better if it was a few episodes in where there was more time to actually focus on the cyborgs or whatever you want to call them, the first time seeing twelve took away from the actual episode which i thought the plot could have been a bit better but overall I liked the main idea of it. kinda like the angels, dont blink but dont breathe this time. Peter at the start was super weird, i know this was his new body or whatever but ive never seen a doctor be that weird for that long, but idk maybe its just me. I like how peter can really vary his acting styles he can talk complete nonsense one minute then become completely serious like when him and clara were talking. I do like him and i think it will be a big change for the fandom but Im really looking forward to him!!! To be honest still not used to clara that much, i feel like shes just filling up space until amy and rory come back (i wish), but she is leaving next season so i can deal with that she has a pretty vibrant personality and I think that will work well with capaldi. PETER IS SCOTTISH AND THAT AUTOMATICALLY MAKES HIM 209482093X BETTER. However, when eleven called clara I was really weirded out since that is the past and calling from trenzalor doesnt make any sense since usually it was regenerate ok youre gone, next body. Which makes me wonder if he can make a phone call how can you not do something to come to them, I know its actually because of the actors, but you shouldnt mix with the actual time-space continuum. But i am also kind of glad that, that did happen because i dont want this kind of distance between clara and 12 that would be weird. but still Im pretty sure there is going to be no romance between peter and jenna so yeah. I really want to see how missy turns out, i think she could be a good character but wtf is up with them being in heaven???!!! SO CONFUSED. that was a geek out im sorry.
