Does Sania Mirza need a crore today? It probably is a drop of ocean to her. On the other hand, don’t know how many days this money would last with her. She and her doubles partner have won hundred and fifty thousand dollars in between them. If at all the state government wishes to reward her for her achievements, which are many and truly creditable, then the same money could be channelized to any orphanages yateemkhane, or such social purpose on Sania Mirza’s name itself. That way innumerable lives would benefit, change, while Sania Mirza would attain longer eternity. Through such a gesture, I am sure the government would also win wider admiration and votes in longer run by this, than what it might now through a singular stand alone gesture towards Sania.
