Does Your Life Represent The Good Of This World, Or The Godliness Of The Bible? Psalm 52, Why do you boast about your crimes, great warrior? Dont you realize Gods justice continues forever? All day long you plot destruction. Your tongue cuts like a sharp razor; youre an expert of telling lies. You love evil more than good and lies more than truth. You love to destroy others with your words, you liar! But God will strike you down once and for all. He will pull you from your home and uproot you from the land of the living. The righteous will see it and be amazed. They will laugh and say, Look what happens to mighty warriors who do not trust in God. They trust their wealth instead and grow more and more bold in their wickedness. But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the House of God. I will always trust in Gods unfailing love. I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people..... The power in the Psalm! In our generation of compromise, we surely dont think about the justice of God continuing forever. That would mean that I would have to live my entire life trying to show God that I really love Him more than my worldly and selfish desires. Surely He cant be serious about that, can He?.... We are living in the LAST DAYS, where people have recreated God to be like Santa Claus; we have remade God in mans image, instead of what Gods Word says, We are made in the image of God!.... As I look out at our world today, and even in our churches, and listen to the things that are being spoken about, it really magnifies how Gods Word is so precise... Gods Word, the Holy Bible, proclaims in 2Timothy 4:3-4, In the last days people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will live their lives for their own selfish desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.... HERE WE ARE, IN THE LAST DAYS!!! So, how can we know for sure if we are a child of God today? Ok, heres how: (1) Do you feel that Father God has set you apart from the world for His purpose - Helping save lost souls and making disciples? (2) Is your life being lived out to fulfill your own selfish desires or to glorify God? Mmmm! (3)Does this world know you as a follower of Jesus Christ, or someone who says that they are a believer but has chosen to love their worldly desires more than Christ?..... There we have it! They test of life - Eternal Life!! Do you want to know whats so sad about our generation? Most people will shrug at this test and say, I dont believe that. God is a loving God, and I am going to put my hope in my profession and Jesus saving me way back in High School.... All I have to say, Gods Word doesnt lie, and the words of man, are full of lies !...... Its all Jesus, or nothing! What is your results today?
