Does anyone know anything about a population of bearded dragons in the Padres National Forest? One if my managers was up there the other day and she said she saw tons of beardies running around a dried river bed. She has herps herself and is intimately familiar with beardies, so she was confident in her identification. I cant think of any native lizard that looks enough like a beardie for her to have possibly misidentified the animals. Anyone?
