Doing my part to help keep myself and my family healthy, last Tuesday I got a flu shot. Saturday my throat felt a little scratchy. Yesterday I started to get a runny nose, sneezed a couple times and felt my throat starting to become sore. Today, sneezed more, nose running more. Tonight, nose is plugged and runny on one side, throat is hurting and Im starting to feel achy and tired. From all the reading I have done in the past, I know the flu vaccine does not cause the flu. So, why the heck every time I get the shot this happens. And to top this off, the Enterovirus is now in Rochester. Strong is reporting their inpatient pediatric units are above capacity because of so many children admitted with severe respiratory illness.
