Doing things right is different from doing DOING THE RIGHT THING! When Martha was busy doing things right, Mary her sister was DOING THE RIGHT THING! When cain was trying to do things right, Abel his brother was DOING THE RIGHT THING! Dont just do things right, DO THE RIGHT THING! When the Marthas of this world are busy doing things right,which doesnt really matter, the Marys are with Christ, DOING THE RIGHT THING! Whatever you are busy doing now may be very good, makes a lot of sense, may be perfect, may be logical, ethical, economical, ideological, spiritual, may be full of mens appraisals, approval, proposals, may be full of productivity, creativity, activity, etc; if you are not WITH(seeing eye to eye) Christ like Mary did, while doing all these wonderful and reasonable exploits, then you are only doing things right, except DOING THE RIGHT THING! Martha and Mary came from the same parent, and they both know Christ but there was still a difference between the two; one was doing things right for Christ but the other was DOING THE RIGHT THING with Christ! We have two types of believers today in the church, especially in ministry; the martha believers who are always doing things right in the church, in the ministry, in the home, in the fellowship, but are not WITH(see eye to eye) Christ! We also have the mary believers who only want to be WITH(see eye to eye) Christ, DOING THE RIGHT THING! The question is, which of the two are we? The martha believers or the mary believers? Martha was very FIT for Christ, but Mary was at the FEET of Christ! Dont just do things right, DO THE RIGHT THING! #TheVoiceCryingInTheWilderness
